September 2023 – Breathe Easy
September has always meant new beginnings to me.
I guess that is because of the new school year, etc.
This year once again I am looking forward
to the cooler days & nights,
not because I like the cooler weather,
but because of all the wildfires in our area.
Our hearts go out to the hundreds of families
who have lost their homes, cottages and livelihoods.
We are grateful that the vast majority have escaped unharmed.
Talk about new beginnings for those folks…
I hope they can manage to see it that way.
When Phil and I were put under evacuation alert
a few years ago due to a wildfire in the area,
it was a real eye-opener.
When I searched my heart as to what I needed to prepare
to take with us
should we have to evacuate,
I thought about all the important documents, pictures etc.
But for me, it all came down to,
if Phil and I are safe
then everything else is just stuff.
Immediately the heavy burden was lifted
from my shoulders and my heart.
It is such a good thing
that we humans are a resilient bunch!

Breathe Easy
I have noticed that since we have been
inundated with smoke for the last month
due to wildfires,
that it daily takes its toll on Phil.
He needs about a 90 minute nap
after a full day out in the smoke,
for the body to repair.
And he is often coughing and blowing his nose
during the day.
We can only imagine how it has been for those
who already suffer with health issues
no matter their age.
I offer some reminder suggestions.
First drink plenty of Water
to enable the body to easily flow out the toxins.
Second our Organic Alfalfa will also help
to speed up the
detoxification process.
Thirdly, we have had great testimonies
on how our Organic Olive Leaf
helps people reverse C.O.P.D.
So my assumption is that the Organic Olive Leaf
will also help to clear the lungs
of other toxins such as smoke.
Fire has a renewing effect,
and if chosen,
it allows us to put into perspective
what is truly import in our lives.
