Green Leaf Stevia Recipes

So it’s a new year and I know people around the world are making resolutions about losing weight or eating healthier. Most of us have, at one point or another made a resolution about getting fit, losing weight, or eating healthier. If you haven’t cut out those nasty fake sugars such as Splenda or other sugar substitutes, that is a good way to keep your resolution.

You might ask “How will I live without my sweets every now and then?”

You don’t need those over processed sweeteners. Nature has provided us with a plant called Stevia. Stevia is a natural sweetener, meaning from the moment you pick a leaf off the plant it’s sweet!

Stevia powders are becoming more and more popular, but not many people understand what it is or how to use it. Let me answer a few questions I’ve gotten recently. Stevia is naturally 10x sweeter than sugar. If you’re looking for a ratio 1 Teaspoon of Suede Hills Green Stevia Powder = approx. 1 cup of sugar. So the next time you look at the price tag remember that!

Stevia is in fact a 0 calorie sweetener, and can be baked with. Here are a few Stevia recipes that are delicious and will help you keep the weight off! Stevia is diabetic and hypoglycemic safe. Stevia has even been shown to help prevent plaque!
