Well it is time to share a bit more valuable health  information with you. We trust that your lives and bodies are getting better and better as each day unfolds. Life just keeps getting better and better when we set our sails in that direction! Keep up the good work!

I thought I would take this opportunity to share a few tidbits of info that can make a huge impact on your overall health. We have had so many calls and emails  from folks, who are doing their very best to live a healthy life. They are confused as to why they haven't reaped the results they were seeking from their entire health regime.

There are 3 main points that are so simple and easy that they often get overlooked. For some reason we expect it to be the big things in life to deliver the big results, but the truth be known, it is ALWAYS the little things that make the biggest difference in the outcome of our lives. Your health is no different!

Point One: What is your body pH?

This is so important because it is the precursor to tell you the state of our body's cells. If the cells are not alkaline, you are dealing with acidosis, and that my friend can be fatal if left unchecked! Sickness and disease can NOT live in an alkaline environment.

Point Two: How often do you "Go # two?" 

Not many folks want to talk about how often they have a bowel movement, but this is a major concern for the health of your body. What goes in MUST come out! Recycling the toxins created from putrifying food is a major health issue.
Basically, if we eat three times per day we should have three BM's per day. Let me tell you from personal experience, even once per day is a Godsend! Always being constipated explains why I was the sick kid in the family, but not anymore!
The goal here for all of us is not for perfection, there are far too many situations and circumstances against us  in this day and age. But you should be having at least ONE BM per day, and if you are not, everything else you are doing for your health is a waste of time and money!!
Fibre plays a role, but if your body is lacking real minerals you are only playing with half a deck. Suede Hills Alfalfa is loaded with both fibre and minerals, plus a whole host of other essential nutrients. The Alfalfa alone changd my life, but the pH Happy Caps  mineral blend is the extra "Boot in the bum", pun intended! Do yourself a huge favor and make sure that, what goes in, definitely comes out, and in a timely fashion too!

Point Three: The Human Body is 55-75% water, are you drinking enough water? 

I know you have heard this before; drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Let me give you a few reasons why.

  • First, if you do not have enough water going into your body it will have a very difficult time eliminating toxins, either through the urine or the bowels.  Toxins need a way out. Water is a necessary, it is inexpensive, readily available, and an easy remedy.
  • Second, if you get cramps in your legs, especially at night, you can resolve that with water and minerals (Suede Hills Alfalfa and/or pH Happy Caps do the trick for me).
  • Third, if you get headaches during the day for no apparent reason, drink a couple glasses of water, and take a few deep breaths of fresh air. This will make a huge difference. Absence of BM's play a contributing factor in headaches as well. Get the bowels moving, the toxins out and headaches go away. Again, I have lived through this one too!

Back to point two for a moment, a headache is another way your body alerts you to the fact that constipation has set in. So get the water and the minerals into you and you solve another issue that plagues millions of people.

No need for drugs that destroy your kidneys and liver!!! Your body just wants and needs these simple tools! Most people would solve the majority of their health issues by just looking after all three of these basic areas of common neglect.

Is Oatmeal Acid Forming?

Who would have thunk it? Yes, your favorite winter breakfast, oatmeal, is contributing to that over acidic situation in your body! Not to worry, there are ways around this.

We talk to many folks at live events and Health Shows, many of these folks are doing their very best to eat healthy just like you. Though oatmeal and blueberries do have some benefits, these benefits are largely outweighed by the oatmeal's contribution to the acidosis condition created in the body. You can easily get the antioxidant benefits of blueberries from other real foods such as blackberries or our Olive Leaf powder.

All grains, like oatmeal, form an acidic residue in the body. That doesn't mean you have to give them up completely, but just be aware that if you want to continue to eat as you do, you will have to "on purpose" make sure you are getting excellent natural minerals like Suede Hills Alfalfa or  pH Happy Caps inside you to help escort that acid out.

It takes a mineral to escort out an acid. If you do not get enough minerals, your body stores that excess acidic residue in fat cells and in other ways, all of which create an acidic condition at the cellular level. If the cells aren't happy and alkaline, neither are you!

Remember that acidosis is the main cause of most if not all sickness and disease. This is because at the root we are talking about what is going on in your body at a cellular level.

This occurs primarily as a result of unwise food choices, improper food combining and consumption of chemical food additives and drugs."

So here are a couple of options:

  • Reduce how many times per week you eat oatmeal, so instead of 5 days a week, try only 1 or 2 times.
  • Use other dark antioxidant-rich fruits like blackberries, black or red grapes or raisins instead blueberries most of the time.
